Angel Falls
![]() |
Near Lake Rabun in Rabun County, it is almost a mile from the campground. One can hike the first half mile of the trail and see Panther Falls and then hike up a fairly steep hill of about a third of a mile to see Angel Falls. There is a platform for viewing and it is difficult to get close to the falls. When there is sufficient water flowing through, these are generally considered to be one of the most beautiful falls in north Georgia. I have not had the privilege of seeing the falls when the maximum amount of water has been flowing through so I cannot verify this conclusion. This is a fairly popular falls and you can usually expect a couple of other people to be enjoying the falls with you. |
