Bad Branch Falls

This is one of the prettiest falls in north Georgia. Near Lake Rabun in Rabun County, it is only about a third of a mile from the road and fairly easily accessible. The falls are located in a natural grotto with cliffs on either side. The cliff face on the right side of the falls is huge and that on the left side is lichen-covered and just beautiful. This is a great falls for enjoying the quiet beauty of the forest and the pleasant sound of the falls. Good for meditating and relaxing. There is no platform to prevent you from wading in the creek or and nothing to destroy the natural beauty of the surroundings.
