Martin Creek Falls

Martin Creek Falls is found in Rabun County outside of Clayton about three miles down Warwoman Road from the Clayton. It is an easy drive to the falls, but the trail is a bit difficult to follow until you reach the Bartram Trail. The falls itself is just off the Bartram Trail and there is now a well made path leading to the falls and an observation landing. The trail to get to the falls is a worthwhile walk, however, due to a beautiful sluice that Martin Creek runs through after the falls. This sluice is almost more interesting to see than the falls itself. There is also one point that you will have to pick your way across the creek, although there are good stepping stones.

Downstream from the falls are a number of other smaller falls that require some extensive climbing and rock hopping to see. Below are a couple pictures from this area.
