Toccoa Falls

Toccoa falls is one of the few free-falling falls in the North Georgia area. Located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College, it is absolutely stunning and lovely to see. The falls are located just outside the town of Toccoa Falls, a few miles off of Hwy 441. It is about a 10-15 minute drive from 441 to the campus using Alternate 17. Follow the signs to Toccoa Falls College and then follow the signs to the Falls. The falls can be reached by going through the gift shop and paying a nominal $1 fee per person. It is more than worth it. You can also read a plaque commemorating the 39 people who died in a flood on the campus on November 6, 1977.

The walk to the falls is short and could be reached in a wheelchair. I would definitely recommend this falls.
